Guerlain Meteorites Pearls

After due diligence on various beauty blogs, vlogs and etc, I bought both the pearls and the Light Diffusing Perfecting Primer, both of which are GREAT!

To be honest, I wear light makeup (if any) so my skin protests if I slap on anything that's heavy. After my moisturizer, I squeezed a tiny drop of the primer and smoothed it all over - it was easy to apply and is not sticky.

It's a great primer (or base) because it's light diffusing in the sense that my face had a luminous glow to it - just what I need for a formal dinner or event.

I also like the light floral scent, which isn't too overpowering since it's applied all over your face.

About the product
- Fresh gel texture with essence of rosy pearls
- Combines micro-shimmer particles to maximize light reflection
- Illuminates skin and camouflages fine lines or imperfections.

How about the Guerlain Meteorites Light Revealing Pearls of Powder?

First and foremost, you will appreciate the exquisiteness of French craftsmanship and design when you unbox the pearls.

See how beautiful the silvery box is?
"Created in 1987, Meteorites by Guerlain is the "mythic finishing powder". (It's seriously mythic because you get a luminous glow all over your face - no shimmer, no shine.)
An advanced powder made with expert craftsmanship. Light-creating polymer transforms light that is invisible to eyes. Then builds in a pure and elegant glow on skin.
Contains matte. Rosy and radiant blue-toned white pearls. Blended with corrective colored pearls. Yellow to counter redness. Pink for freshness and mauve to catch the light. Incredibly brightens the face with endless radiance."
Clair (Light) No. 2 Next, you need to choose the shade that best suits your skin and in most reviews, the light-skinned ladies (cools) go for Clair No. 2 while the medium-toned (warms) go for Medium No. 3.

There's also No. 1 Blanc De Perle but this seems to be less popular.

While it's a setting powder, I use it like a sort of finishing powder for my T-zone and it works well.

I have used compact powders by Clinique and Estee Lauder but somehow they seem to clog up my pores but Guerlain does not give me that feeling so it's worth the price if you are not a heavy user.

I love how easy it is to use the pearls because all you need is a light swish over it with a foundation brush and then sweep it all over your face.

2. Clinique Moisture Defense

3. Benefit The Porefessional

4. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

Are you using any of the above skincare products or makeup too? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
